Grass Valley Police Department

Monday

7:24 a.m. — A man from the 200 block of Scotia Pines Circle reported his vehicle was broken into last week and items were taken, including a laptop computer, a pouch with tools and about $25 in change.

9:33 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Mill Street reported possible drug activity.

10:14 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Park Avenue reported squatters; the report was unfounded.

11:31 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West Main Street reported a shoplifter in custody; a juvenile was cited and released.

1:54 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported a physical fight. It was found to be mutual combat.

2:04 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Eureka Street reported a possible drunken driver; a second call was made at 4:01 p.m. The person could not be located.

5:09 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man with a shopping basket full of stolen items. The suspect could not be located and the store wanted no further action.

6:13 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Sutton Way reported a drug deal; nothing was located.

6:34 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of East Main Street reported a vehicle had been broken into and paperwork stolen.

8:18 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported the shoplifting of sunflower seeds; the suspect was admonished.

Tuesday

1 a.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of East Main Street reported yelling and loud music.

8:52 a.m. — A man from Otting Court reported the theft of a gas cap last night.

9 a.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Mystic Mine Place reported a dead, possibly rabid fox.

9:32 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of School Street reported elder abuse.

9:42 a.m. — A woman from the 16000 block of Garden Bar Road reported a neighbor was stealing her mail, putting nails in her tires and leaving animals in a trailer so they make noise all night.

9:59 a.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Cook Road reported possible animal abuse involving a starved horse.

10:51 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Hawkeye Lane reported the theft of tools from a barn.

2:34 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Camp Road reported two vicious dogs.

4:54 p.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Shady Creek Drive reported a friend’s dog bit her and her puppy, and she was trapped in the bathroom. Her friend came back and let her out.

5:18 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Wolf Drive reported a man caused a disturbance, and knocked a picture off a wall that hit her.

5:27 p.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Ringtail Place reported her cat was stuck in a fireplace.

11:06 a.m. — A caller from the 1900 block of Rock Road reported the theft of a license plate.

4:28 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sacramento Street reported someone put a padlock on a bicycle by mistake.
