SOUTH YUBA RIVER STATE PARK: A LOCAL HIKING TREAURE We are so lucky to have such a beautiful, accessible and historic State Park right here in our own backyard. Bridgeport is a special area rich in history and lots of recreational opportunities. Many of us love to take our regular walks along the Buttermilk Bend or the Point Defiance trails at Bridgeport.
