TAHOE CITY — Alpine Meadows Ski Resort is mourning the loss of one its own. Annalise Kjolhede, 24, a ski instructor with the resort’s Kids Ski School, died Tuesday evening, following a skiing accident at Alpine Nov. 10, a resort spokesperson said. Kjolhede suffered serious head and neck injuries after falling and hitting a submerged rock near Wolverine Bowl while skiing with friends that day, the spokesperson said. She was wearing a helmet.
