North San Juan man arrested after ‘ruckus’

A North San Juan man remains in custody in county jail after he allegedly rammed his wife’s vehicle with his motorcycle in a domestic dispute Tuesday night. Nevada County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene of a disturbance near the senior center in North San Juan at about 10:30 p.m., said Sheriff’s Capt. Shannan Moon. According to dispatch reports, callers reported a “ruckus” with a man acting “crazy.” The man, identified as Daniel William Gurney, 47, allegedly was ramming his motorcycle into a vehicle occupied by a woman, Moon said.
