Friday

Grass Valley Police Department - Calls for service 95

8:33 a.m. - A caller from the 200 block of Barby Drive reported that gems and jewellery were stolen from his residence.

8:50 a.m. - A caller from E Main Street reported a naked man was roaming the streets.

9:13 a.m. - A caller from N Auburn Street reported that a known transient continues to enter a business. The subject took a bath with an outside hose, urinated in the corner of the parking lot and wanders around in front of the store.

9:50 a.m. - A caller from 100 block of Mill Street reported a transient asleep on a bench in front of his retail business.

2:39 p.m. - A caller from Highway 49 reported a juvenile threw a rock onto the highway that struck his windshield.

5:38 p.m. - A caller from the 100 block of Winchester Street reported his credit card number had been used online for multiple purchases.

8:31 p.m. - A caller from Eureka Street reported a man walking down the street with a chainsaw.

Nevada County Sheriff’s Office - Calls for service 87

8:01 a.m. - A caller from the 11000 block of Ridge Road reported that her son was assaulted in a science class by another student.

8:25 a.m. - A caller from the 10000 block of Wilowbrook Lane reported that subjects were knocking on their doors overnight and they were concerned their house would be burglarized while at work.

11:09 a.m. - A caller from the 11000 block of Lower Circle Drive reported a subject dropped two dogs off at his house and fled.

1:45 p.m. - A caller from an automotive business on Cattle Drive reported a customer who came in and retrieved his vehicle did not pay his bill.

5:22 p.m. - A caller from the 16000 block of Lake Vera-Purdon Road reported two males in an argument with one of them brandishing a large knife.

A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported her dog stolen.

Grass Valley Police Department - Calls for service 68

7:23 a.m.. - A caller from a business on S Auburn Street reported that a customer told them there was a body behind the store. Officers did not locate it.

2:25 p.m. - A caller from Dee Mautino Park reported that teenagers were swearing at young children and not allowing them to play on the swings.

3:15 p.m. - A caller from Brunswick Road reported a subject that was punching his dog in the face repeatedly.

5:10 p.m. - A caller from the 100 block of Ophir Street reported the theft of two jewellery boxes.

6:15 p.m. - A caller from the 400 block of Brunswick Road reported that three subjects yelling obscenities at customers as they are driving by.

10:24 p.m. - A caller from the 100 block of Bank Street reported jewellery was stolen from her hotel room.

2:56 a.m. - A caller from the 21000 block of Wits End reported that her boyfriend assaulted her.

9:44 a.m. - A caller from the 14000 block of Rapp Road reported her grandson attempted to steal her truck from her garage, damaging both the truck and the garage.

10:46 a.m. - A caller from McCourtney Road reported someone opened the gate to his pasture and his two horses are loose.

12:08 p.m. - A caller from the 15000 block of Washington Road reported a load “rave” was being held in the neighbourhood.

1:07 pm. - A caller from the 10000 block of School Street reported that her neighbors are stealing items from around her trailer.

7:34 p.m. - A caller from the 17000 block of Round Valley Road reported that her husband was assaulted while riding a go-cart on a private road.

8:08 p.m. - A caller from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported a man was yelling obscenities at her as he drove by her house.

9:18 p.m. - A caller from the 11000 block of Wolf Road reported that a neighbor off of medication has razors in her hands and had cuts on her face and hands.

9:56 p.m. - A caller from Meadow Drive reported copious amounts of marijuana smoke emitting from a neighbor’s house.

10:16 p.m. - A caller from the 17000 block of Duggans Road reported that four subjects are sticking plastic tubing in the house’s “cat door” in an attempt to “gas her out” of the house.

Nevada City Police Department - Calls for service 25

1:26 p.m. - A caller from the 200 block of Nevada Street reported her wallet was stolen in Yuba City and wanted her residence checked.

6:17 p.m. - A caller from the 300 block of Old Downieville Highway reported her wedding ring stolen.

6:18 a.m. - A caller from the 11000 block of Rainbow Road reported that a male subject who is dirty and confused walked into the house.

1:29 a.m. - A female caller stated that she wanted a taxi.
