Police Blotter: Satanic cults and growling men

Thursday - 92 calls for service

8:15 a.m. — A caller at the Brunswick Road northbound on-ramp to Highway 49 reported a man hitting a woman’s car with an object.

8:37 a.m. — A caller at an automotive service business on the 100 block of Stewart Street reported the theft of multiple items from multiple vehicles. Subjects were arrested in connection to the thefts.

11:22 a.m. — A caller at a business on the 1400 block of East Main Street reported the theft of cigarettes and a lighter.

11:55 a.m. — A caller at a coffee shop on the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported the theft of a vehicle, which was subsequently located in the parking lot.

1:22 p.m. — A caller near Memorial Park reported approximately 20 juveniles smoking marijuana.

6:35 p.m. — A caller at a business on the 100 block of Neal Street reported a transient refusing to leave the rest room.

9:45 p.m. — A caller on the 100 block of Solar Drive reported that someone knocked on the door, turned the hose on full blast, then fled.

Friday

12:06 a.m. — A caller at a tire store on Sutton Way reported that her vehicle top was torn and items, such as her iPod, stereo and a wallet, were stolen.

Thursday - 124 calls for service

9:16 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of Hidden Valley and Auburn roads reported that a woman screamed “Help” from a truck.

10:33 a.m. ­— A caller on the 17000 block of Duggans Road reported a home invasion that occurred the previous night. The caller reported the invaders left and that they were part of a satanic cult.

10:54 a.m. — A caller from a fire department on the 18900 block of Highway 174 reported the theft of gear by an ex-employee.

11:26 a.m. — A caller on the 18600 block of Easy Street reported a suspect in front of her residence making threats to hang her son.

12:19 p.m. — A caller at a business on the 10100 block of Granholm Lane reported that a van was stolen.

12:56 p.m. — A caller on the 10500 block of Quail Creek Road reported the theft of two chainsaws and garden tools from a locked shed.

3:38 p.m. ­­— A caller on the 12800 block of Mooney Flat Road reported the theft of a cell phone and a camera from the caller’s porch.
