Monday ­— 74 calls for service

8:53 a.m. ­— A caller from the 100 block of Margaret Lane reported finding drugs and a needle.

12:53 p.m. ­— A caller from the 900 block of Slate Creek Road reported someone dropped a jacket that was on fire out of a vehicle. The jacket was located but not the vehicle.

1:25 p.m. ­— A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a woman shoplifted.

1:36 p.m. ­— A caller from the 1900 block of East Main Street reported a juvenile might have stolen a bottle of alcohol; the juvenile was not located.

2:07 p.m. ­— A caller from Nevada City Highway reported a man slammed a dog into a post before leaving.

2:37 p.m. ­— A caller from the 100 block of Bank Street reported ongoing trespassing, loitering and littering issues.

3:33 p.m. ­— A woman from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported someone pulled out a cat’s claws.

5:31 p.m. ­— A caller from the 400 block of South Church Street reported finding a switchblade.

5:52 p.m. ­— A caller from the 100 block of Cornish Court reported a suspicious man in a neighbor’s yard.

Midnight ­— A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a drunken and angry man was driving. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

12:15 a.m. ­— A caller from the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported noise and drugs. It was quiet when officers arrived.

3:46 a.m. ­— A caller from the 1000 block of Sutton Way reported a girl tried to steal alcohol but dropped the bottle and fled. She was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and being a minor in possession of alcohol.

8:16 a.m. ­— A caller from the 11000 block of Edward Drive reported a dog that barks all day and night. A warning was issued to the dog owner.

9:44 a.m. ­— A woman from the 20000 block of Dog Bar Road reported a person broke into her residence last night.

10:28 a.m. ­— A woman from Gracie and Banner Lava Cap roads reported finding an empty box of condoms; she said she found a pornographic magazine a few weeks ago. She requested extra patrols.

12:06 p.m. ­— A woman from the 14000 block of Pammy Way reported she and her husband were drunk and trying to hurt each other. She was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse.

12:07 p.m. ­— A caller from the 17000 block of Sky Oaks Lane reported fraudulent activity on a debit card.

12:34 p.m. ­— A caller from the 12000 block of Loma Rica Drive reported a burglary to a shed with the theft of a barrel of empty aluminum cans.

2:58 p.m. ­— A caller from the 13000 block of Beitler Road requested a welfare check on a horse.
