Police Blotter: Logging crew threatened by man walking dog

Thursday ­ 76 calls for service

8:48 a.m. A caller from the 1200 block of East Main Street reported a man kicking a dog; they could not be located.

5:12 p.m. A caller from Sutton Way and East Main Street reported tagging at bus stops.

6:50 p.m. A caller from Bank Street reported a vehicle blew through a stop sign.

7:03 p.m. A caller from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported two boys pulled a possible pellet gun on a girl. It was a cap gun and they were admonished.

7:36 p.m. ­A caller from the 200 block of Nevada City Highway reported a physical fight involving two men; they could not be located.

7:44 p.m. ­ A caller from Elisabeth Daniels Park reported hearing a man screaming for help. A man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

8:26 p.m. A caller from Butler Street and Packard Drive reported a man lying in the middle of the road, who was taken to the hospital.

6:33 a.m. ­A caller from the 300 block of Clark Street reported the theft of an iPod, iPod charger, phone charger and checkbook from a vehicle.

8:03 a.m. ­A caller from the 13000 block of Mystic Mine Road reported someone damaged three juniper trees.

8:33 a.m. ­A caller from the 12000 block of Pine Cone Circle reported identity theft.

9:34 a.m. ­A caller from the 15000 block of Cedar View Road reported the theft of jewelry.

9:43 a.m. ­ A man from the 19000 block of Cruzon Grade Road reported that his logging crew was being threatened and harassed by a person who keeps jumping in front of vehicles. The suspect called to report he had been assaulted while walking his dog.

9:56 a.m. ­A caller from the 26000 block of Table Meadow Road reported possible animal abuse.

10:56 a.m. ­A caller from Birchville Road reported marijuana growers are continually blocking a property easement.

11:11 a.m. ­A caller from the 23000 block of Lone Pine Drive reported fraud.

11:49 a.m. ­A caller from the 17000 block of Lake Forest Drive reported a scam.

12:30 p.m. A caller from the 18000 block of Easy Street reported the theft of belongings.

2:08 p.m. ­A caller from the 10000 block of Oak Hill Drive reported a man going through someone’s mailbox.

2:52 p.m. A man from the 21000 block of Bald Ridge Drive reported being assaulted, but did not need medical attention.

5:48 p.m. A caller from the 10000 block of Mountain Lion Lane reported an assault.

6:27 p.m. A caller from Highway 20 and Melody Road reported a man with blood all over his hands. He had been in a vehicle accident.

6:50 p.m. A caller from Highway 49 reported two runaway juveniles.

6:54 p.m. A caller from the 15000 block of Highway 174 reported road rage.

8:04 p.m. A caller from Combie Road reported a person threw a cup of ranch dressing at an employee. The juveniles then left.

9:10 p.m. ­A caller from new School Road West reported a physical fight; everyone was OK.

11:22 p.m. ­ A caller from Round Valley Circle reported a person had posted images on Facebook of a dog that had been beaten, and weapons.

6:55 a.m. ­ A woman from the 11000 block of Tree Top Circle reported a deer in her pool, which she chased to the steps so that it got out.

10:04 a.m. ­A caller from Uren Street and Highway 20 reported a woman walking down the center divide, who was not located.

11:51 a.m. A caller from West Broad and Spring streets reported an aggressive flute player.
