Police blotter: Nightly skateboarder in school hallways


Grass Valley Police Department

Wednesday

7:03 a.m. — A caller from the Dorsey Drive overpass reported a man in a wheelchair who looked like he was ready to jump. He could not be located.

10:03 a.m. — A caller from the business in the 600 block of Maltman Drive reported the theft of a leafblower.

11:02 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Sutton Way reported a man yelling at customers to buy him food; he could not be located.

1:47 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Main Street reported vandalism to a sign.

2:32 p.m. — A caller reported ongoing drug issues at a house.

2:39 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Highlands Court reported the theft of a phone.

3:28 p.m. — A caller form the 600 block of Charlene Lane reported possible identity fraud.

4:06 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Whiting Street reported possible drug use and sales.

4:08 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Sutton Way reported a woman who locked herself in the bathroom and was refusing to come out. She was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

4:21 p.m. — A caller from Freeman Lane reported a large amount of drugs in a transient camp.

4:47 p.m. — A caller from Memorial Park reported a transient possibly trying to camp out by the bathrooms; no one was located.

8:17 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported her vehicle had been broken into and a wallet and clothes were missing.

11:45 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Glenwood Avenue reported the theft of marijuana.

Thursday

2:28 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Hughes Road reported a man was looking in a vehicle, then left when confronted.

3:09 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of South School Street reported a skateboarder in the school hallway, who was there most nights and who was making a lot of noise. He fled on foot when officers arrived.

8:25 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 at the South Yuba River reported large rocks in the road.

10:10 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Golden Star Road reported a phone call scam.

10:21 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Ridge Road reported possible stolen mail.

11:36 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Digger Hill Way reported a person banging on the door and refusing to leave.

1:34 p.m. — caller from the 15000 block of Woodruff Court reported possible missing guns.

2:11 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Hobby Way reported a fraud with the loss of $1,800.

2:53 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Reefer Court reported vandalism, with a floor and metal doors taken from an outbuilding.

3:13 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Cooper Road reported vandalism to a trailer.

4:57 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Wolf Road reported a person had cut off their finger while chopping wood.

5:32 p.m. — A caller from Wolf Mountain Road reported hearing banging and yelling, and seeing people destroying the towers.

6:58 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Miwok Place reported the theft of money from a mailbox.

Thursday

12:04 a.m. — A caller from Pine Lane reported two men tearing a house apart.
