Police blotter: Multiple vehicle break-ins reported


Grass Valley Police Department

Tuesday

9:53 a.m. — A caller requested advice on someone squatting in a garage.

10:13 a.m. — A caller from Candy Lane reported a residential burglary.

10:27 a.m. — A caller from Candy Lane reported an attempted burglary to a vehicle, with possible items left behind by the suspect.

12:10 p.m. — A caller from Primrose Lane reported a vehicle had been broken into and a handicapped placard was missing.

1:08 p.m. — A caller from Silver Springs High School reported a physical fight in the parking lot. No charges were desired.

2:06 p.m. — A woman from the 500 block of Packard Drive reported a burglary to a vehicle.

4:16 p.m. — A man from Candy Lane reported a large amount of found property on the side of his yard.

4:31 p.m. — A woman from Candy Lane reported a burglary to her vehicle.

5:32 p.m. — A woman from Candy Lane reported her vehicle had been entered last night.

8:59 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of Olympia Park Road reported a drunken man passed out in a booth. It was an employee, who was advised to return when it was time for his scheduled shift.

10:42 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported someone tried her door knob and then left.

Wednesday

12:43 a.m. — A man from the 1200 block of East Main Street reported his girlfriend was being attacked outside. He was drunk; the woman arrived after the officers and was OK.

1:47 a.m. — A caller from Primrose Lane reported a man revving his engine and speeding back and forth. He denied driving his vehicle, but agreed to stay inside.

Tuesday

10:41 a.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Chaparral Lane reported a phone being hacked, possibly in attempt to steal a person’s identity.

10:56 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Tyler-Foote Crossing Road reported a person digging large holes, and people in vicinity getting sick from the gas smell. The call was transferred to Cal Fire.

11:01 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Street reported three pit bulls running in and out of yards. The dogs were contained and the owner was contacted.

11:04 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Buckeye Circle reported the theft of water.

11:33 a.m. — A caller from the 22000 block of Wild Canary Road reported credit card fraud.

12:10 p.m. — A wrong-way driver was contacted on Highway 49 at East McKnight Way.

1:24 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Casa Loma Drive reported possible credit card fraud.

3:02 p.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Smith Lane reported vandalism to a vehicle; it was a civil issue.

4:54 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Oro Valley Road reported being followed home after a road rage incident.

8:13 p.m. — A caller from Wood Rose Way and Brunswick Road reported a man sleeping in a sleeping bag; he was moving on.
