A Grass Valley man has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of an Auburn gas station and market earlier this month. Auburn Gas & Food at 1110 High St. was robbed Feb. 7 by a man wearing a mask, who brandished a gun at a clerk and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Auburn Police detectives were able to identify the suspect through witness statements and through physical evidence directly connected to the crime, said Sgt. Dale Hutchins.
