Grass Valley Police responding to a report of a man asleep in a running vehicle allegedly found him with a syringe in his hand and with more than 11 grams of heroin. A caller reported the man inside a Chevrolet at Alta Vista Drive and Alta Street shortly after midnight Friday, according to dispatch reports. Officers found Vincent Michael Joseph Nigro, 29, passed out inside the vehicle, said Sgt. Joe Matteoni.
