An alert towing company employee spotted two men hopping a fence at Hansen Brothers Enterprises and foiled a pair of would-be metal thieves, said Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal. Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the business in the 11000 block of La Barr Meadows Road at about 3 a.m. Saturday after receiving a report of two men who pulled up to the service equipment and truck yard with the men then hopping the fence, Royal said.
