A man wanted by local law enforcement on a parole violation was arrested on vehicle theft charges in Grass Valley, thanks to an alert police officer. The officer was on patrol at about 8:30 a.m. Monday and noticed a Honda that had been spray-painted black in a driveway of a residence in the 800 block of Forest Glade Circle, said Grass Valley Police Sgt.
