Waste Management of Nevada County has launched a community safety and crime watch partnership with local law enforcement agencies throughout the Nevada County area. Through WasteWatch, Waste Management drivers will act as additional eyes and ears in the Grass Valley, Nevada City and Nevada County area neighborhoods they serve. “We welcome the extra eyes and ears in our neighborhoods,” said Operations Captain Jeff Powell from the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office. “Waste Management drivers provide services in our community on a daily basis, giving them a strong familiarity with the area.
