Siteline Architecture hires new staff member

Siteline Architecture, a Nevada City architecture firm, announced the hiring of a new architect, Christopher Gage.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled,” Gage told The Union. “Siteline Architecture is doing great things in this community and I’m just glad to be a part of it all.”

Siteline Architecture has provided design and planning services for residential and commercial clients for over 11 years. Gage will bring 12 years of architectural experience as a draftsman, construction administrator, project manager, 3-D modeler and most recently, as a licensed architect.

Gage has also worked on residential and commercial clients, most recently focusing on Alzheimer’s care facilities throughout the United States. A Nevada County native, Gage told The Union that he moved back to Grass Valley four years ago with his wife, and was previously commuting to an architecture firm in Roseville. He is excited to work with Siteline, in the community he grew up in.

“Growing up here, I went to Pleasant Ridge and Bear River High School,” Gage said. “So coming back here, I am just thrilled to be back, and to work with a company like Siteline, who is doing some amazing work here.”

Gage studied architecture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo receiving his degree in 2004, and would go on to work in Sacramento and Placer County’s before coming to Siteline.

“I look forward to talking with clients about “aging in place” design considerations and expanding Siteline’s efforts into the field of Alzheimer’s care,” Gage said.
