Twin Cities Church

Unity in the Gold Country

Mountain Stream Meditation Center

St. Canice Roman Catholic Church
Join us for a seminar entitled “Sharing and Understanding Our Beliefs and Commonalities.” The St. Canice Ladies Guild is hosting this fall retreat featuring Thomas P. Bonacci, C.P. on Thursday, October 10. As Executive Director of the Interfaith Peace Project in Antioch, Father Bonacci offers friendly and hospitable programs to help participants cope with inherited stereotypes, innocent misunderstandings, embarrassing questions or general knowledge of the many faith traditions in the world we share. It will be at the St. Canice Center, 236 Reward Street, off Zion St., Nevada City. It will be an opportunity to learn about the various belief traditions in our world – Judaism, Islam, Christian and Muslim where believers work toward a shared goal of peace and harmony.

Christian Science Church

Pray Nevada County
We are seeking God on behalf of our communities. Open to all for Christian prayer, Pray Nevada County meets each Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. to pray for our county governments and services, schools and families, businesses and media, and churches and parachurch ministries.
Since August 1997, 15 to 25 people from eight to 12 congregations have met each week to pray for our communities. In the month of September, we will be meeting at Lifetime Adoption Center, 17860 Cattle Drive, Penn Valley.
From Grass Valley, take Highway 20 west. Pass through the stoplight intersection at Rough and Ready Highway and turn right at the first road. Turn left immediately and follow Cattle Drive west until you turn right into the driveway of the center.
