St. Canice Roman Catholic Church, Nevada City
Pope John Paul II quoted the best and most effective way to grow in holiness for “our essential commitment in life is to grow spiritually in the climate of the Holy Eucharist. Not only with our communal worship at Holy Mass — it must go together with our Personal Worship of Jesus and extending in Eucharistic Adoration, in order that our love may be complete.” Pope Benedict XVI announced October 2012 a special “Year of Faith” to help Catholics appreciate the gift of faith, deepen their relationship with God and strengthen their commitment in this love with others.
St. Canice’s Parish Church will be implementing the Eucharistic Adoration for this Lenten Season. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be read after which will take us into Benediction.
