Grass Valley man takes plea in drug sting case

A Grass Valley man arrested in an undercover drug sting took a plea agreement in exchange for 120 days in jail and three years probation. Andrew John Lindquist, 19 at the time, was arrested in November 2011 after undercover officers set up a deal to buy Adderall, an amphetamine-based medication used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Members of the Nevada County Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force had recovered a cell phone during a search in another case that contained text messages to Lindquist, which discussed buying pills from him.
