Miners roll over Thunder

It was a senior night to remember for Nevada Union’s wrestling team as it had a dominating performance on the mat, winning 12 out of 14 of its matches Wednesday at West Gym to clinch its first winning season in three years as it defeated the Rocklin Thunder, 64-12. “It’s our first winning season in three years,” said head coach Gary Sumner. “I’m really excited about the future.” NU was never really threatened by Rocklin throughout the dual largely because six of its matches were wins that came by forfeit.
