Dillon Virva, a 2012 graduate of Nevada Union High School, had a couple of great performances in the swimming pool Saturday as University of Nevada, Las Vegas swept their dual meet at Cal State University, Bakersfield. Virva finished in 2nd place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.33 seconds and also came in 3rd in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.37 seconds, less than one second off the lead combined for each race.
