Unity in the Gold Country

Join us this Sunday when Licensed Unity Teacher, Patricia Haller, shares her talk, “The Kingdom of Heaven – The Fourth Dimension Of Living.” Taken from the book, “Heart-Centered Metaphysics”, Patricia explains our Spiritual growth out of the third dimensional way of living as we move more into the fifth dimension on this Earth. Music by Gabriel Clark. We are located at 180 Cambridge Ct., Grass Valley, off Whispering Pines Lane, across from Peaceful Valley Farm Supply. “The Way of Mastery” is held each Monday at 7 p.m. The Men’s and Women’s Groups meet each Tuesday at 10 a.m. “A Course in Miracles” every Thursday at 7 p.m. Our Children’s Ministry program is held each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. A study of the book “I Am The Word” is every Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Center, 9 a.m. -noon.

Mountain Stream Meditation Center

Our Buddhist Insight Meditation group meets every Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Mountain Stream Meditation Center, 710 Zion St., Nevada City.

First Baptist Church, Grass Valley

Traditional service at 9 a.m. features a mix of praise songs and hymns. Sunday School for adults, youth, children and preschoolers is provided. Nevada City United Methodist Church

At our historic church services will begin with traditional worship at 9: a.m. followed by contemporary worship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday School begins at 10:30 — childcare is available. Christian Science Church/Reading Room and Bookstore

Wednesdays: Join our open Wednesday Meetings for sharing about healing from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. After hearing verses from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy on a theme, participants are invited to share personal examples of Christian healing and gratitude for God’s care. The meeting is followed by greeting and fellowship.

Sundays: Stop by any Sunday at 10 a.m. to visit our weekly worship service centered on a sermon directly from the Bible and Science and Health. A Sunday School is held at the same time where students up to the age of 20 learn all about the Bible and how to apply its timeless spiritual lessons in their lives (childcare is provided).

Grass Valley United Methodist Church

Our contemplative service begins at 8:45 a.m. followed by our traditional service at 10:30 a.m. Coffee fellowship follows each service. Sunday School is held during the 8:45 service for ages 3 to 12 with chimes and drama 9:45 to 10:30. Child care for all ages 8:30 until noon. There is a Sunday bible study during our for service. The Healing Rooms of Nevada County

We pray for healing of body and spirit. Everyone is welcome whether they attend church or not. Come to the Main Lobby of the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, 155 Glasson Way, Grass Valley on the first and third Thursdays of each month, 7 to 8:30 p.m. There is no fee and no appointment is necessary. Also, Tuesday mornings from 9 to 11:30 a.m. healing ministry is available by appointment only. Pray Nevada County

We seek God on behalf of our communities. Open to all for prayer, Pray Nevada County meets each Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. to pray for our county governments and services, schools and families, businesses and media, and churches and parachurch ministries. Since August 1997, 15 to 25 people from eight to 12 congregations have met each week to pray for our communities.
