An elderly Grass Valley man was beaten and tied up by three men Friday night in a home invasion robbery, according to the Grass Valley Police Department.
The man called 911 at about 8 p.m. to report he was inside his residence, bound by his hands and feet, after being beaten by three men who had forced entry into his residence.
Three unknown assailants knocked on the man’s door. He answered, and the suspects asked if they could make an out-of-town phone call.
