Police blotter: Imposter cop reportedly pepper-sprayed

Friday

7:07 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South School Street reported a “somewhat physical” argument.

9:13 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Bank Street reported a van with marijuana falling out of the side door; it could not be located.

10:39 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of North Church Street reported a phone scam.

11:49 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Crown Point Circle reported a vehicle spinning doughnuts in the parking lot. It was a person learning to drive a stick shift.

12:42 p.m. — A caller form the 100 block of Neal Street reported an assault.

2:02 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter in custody, who was cited and released.

2:15 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Colfax Avenue reported the theft of a watch.

2:37 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported trying to change the title on a vehicle that was coming back as stolen.

4:34 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Colfax Avenue reported a burglary.

8:08 p.m. — A woman from the 100 block of Hughes Road reported a prowler in a vacant residence.

8:09 p.m. — A caller reported that a person impersonating a police officer pulled over a woman on Doris Drive a few days ago and she pepper-sprayed him.

8:26 p.m. — A man from the 1300 block of East Main Street reported a group of juveniles was seen rummaging through his vehicle before leaving on foot.

8:46 p.m. — A caller from Scotten School reported hearing people on the roof of the school.

11:54 p.m. — A caller from the 900 block of West Main Street reported hearing a fight possibly involving about five people. Another caller reported hearing lots of screaming and commotion and seeing a man hit a woman. A report was taken.

Saturday

7:30 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Bank Street reported a physical fight. No charges were desired.

9:54 a.m. — A caller from Freeman and Picadilly lanes reported illegal dumping.

10:40 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Main Street reported a man trying to throw a woman out of a vehicle. No one could be located.

10:48 a.m. — A woman from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported a person tried to break into her apartment and was now gone.

2:24 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Catherine Lane reported a woman lying down in the parking lot, yelling obscenities. She was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

8:54 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Buena Vista Street reported people using meth or crank who will not leave and who have been stealing from the caller.

9 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported a gunshot.

Sunday

10:17 a.m. — A caller from Idaho-Maryland Road and Scandling Avenue reported tagging on the overpass.

4:25 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of a wallet.

8:48 p.m. — A man from the 1400 block of East Main Street reported pushing a woman out of his house.

10:14 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported a man tried to get in her apartment.

Monday

1:11 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of East Main Street reported a man unconscious in the roadway.

10:21 a.m. — A caller from Bear River High School reported finding two Vicodin tablets and requested extra patrols.

11:44 a.m. — A caller from Jack Rogers Court reported trespassing.

12:37 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Lake Vera-Purdon Road reported the theft of a mini-bike a year ago.

2:32 p.m. — A caller from the 23000 block of Lone Pine Drive reported a theft.

2:58 p.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Kilham Mine Road reported a man keeps putting his trash in her trash can.

6:20 p.m. — A caller from Washington Creek Road reported hearing people roll large boulders into the river.

11:28 p.m. — A caller from the 150000 block of Pammy Way reported hearing four or five gunshots.
