Police blotter: Woman reported catching boyfriend in bed with prostitute


Grass Valley Police Department

Tuesday

10:45 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported a constant and heavy smell of marijuana coming from an apartment. Nobody was home.

12:02 p.m. — A caller from Brighton and Chapel streets reported a man taking pictures of children and tried to hide his camera when he saw the caller. He could not be located.

12:42 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a girl possibly was trying to hitchhike and might be a runaway. She was returned to her home.

1:27 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Berryhill drive reported a domestic dispute; a woman had a bloody lip and scratches. The man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

3:35 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported a man with a bike trying to crawl on parked trailers; he could not be located.

4 p.m. — A caller asked to speak to an officer about partying issues with a neighbor.

6:29 p.m. — A caller from the 1200 block of East Main Street reported a man beating on doors at a motel.

10:10 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported a very strong smell of death in the area. It could not be located.

Wednesday

1:37 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Catherine Lane reported a burglary of a vehicle, with a flashlight and change stolen.

3:54 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported a man and woman looking in vehicles and roaming the hallways. They could not be located.

Tuesday

8:41 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Garden Bar Road reported an injured deer possibly had been in a fight. It was dispatched.

9:07 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and School Street reported a large transient issue; extra patrols were requested.

9:33 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Cattle Drive reported the theft of tools and equipment from a storage unit.

10:20 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Sierra Drive reported a possible break-in with a computer keyboard taken.

10:33 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Tyler Foote Crossing Road reported identity theft.

10:48 a.m. — A caller from Squirrel Creek Road reported the theft of a cell phone.

12:08 p.m. — A caller from Chicago Park Powerhouse reported the theft of copper cable.

2:22 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Darlene Court reported a man assaulted her and grabbed her neck.

2:55 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Robin Avenue reported a person threw a rock at a vehicle’s windshield.

2:59 p.m. — A man from the 19000 block of Highway 49 reported two emus in his front yard.

4:43 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Harmony Ridge Road reported two hippies riding bikes, causing a hazard.

5:09 p.m. — A caller from Peardale Road and Clover Leaf Court reported a tree blocking the road. The California Highway Patrol was handling.

8:07 p.m. — A man from Greenhorn Road reported a woman broke his windshield, took his phone and physically assaulted him. He was arrested on outstanding warrants; she was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse and vandalism.

10:38 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Vintage Drive reported a residential burglary.

10:46 p.m. — A man from Tiger Lily Lane reported a woman was threatening suicide. She said she was not suicidal, he was angry because she caught him in bed with a prostitute. Both had been drinking.

Tuesday

6:12 p.m. — A caller from Lindley Avenue reported a man drinking beer, playing music at a loud volume and jumping on the hood of his vehicle. He agreed to turn it down.
