Police blotter: Drunken man having problems with prosthetic leg

8:41 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Glenwood Drive reported a neighbor put a large stone in front of the caller’s gate with a chain around the base of the gate. It was a neighbor dispute.

11:18 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Alta Street reported a man refusing to leave, who was arrested on outstanding warrants.

12:07 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Mill Street reported a man trying to break into a business. No signs of entry were located; the man was sent on his way.

12:59 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Laurel Lane reported a woman stealing medicine.

4:17 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported a vehicle had been broken into and a tape deck was stolen.

4:30 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Sutton Way reported a man camping in a ditch, who was admonished and advised not to return.

6:07 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported attempted arsenic poisoning and possible drug issues.

6:15 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported a group of juveniles banging on a door and yelling.

6:58 p.m. — Multiple callers from the 900 block of Donald Avenue reported a wood pile on fire.

7:01 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Broadview Avenue reported the theft of a mountain bike.


12:43 a.m. — A caller from the hospital reported an extremely drunken person causing a disturbance; he left.

3:20 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Columbia Avenue reported a person in a back yard; no one was located.

5:17 a.m. — A caller form the 200 block of Sacramento Street reported a man sleeping on the third level; he was admonished.

9:02 a.m. — A caller from Englebright Lake reported a possible drunken driver. The male driver was then in an argument with family members, then left on foot.

10:35 a.m. — A caller from Big Spring Drive and Perimeter Road reported a neglected horse.

11:36 a.m. — A caller from Spenceville Road and Penn Valley Drive reported three men who might be drunk and using drugs. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

11:40 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported a dispute; a woman said she had been assaulted. It was found to have been a verbal dispute only.

1:03 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Indian Springs Road reported a possibly physical fight.

3:09 p.m. — A drunken man from Oak Grove Court reported he was going to be beat up and wanted to go to jail, but couldn’t walk because something was wrong with his prosthetic leg. At 7:41 p.m., he reported his father was threatening to kill him; he was extremely drunk and wanted help locating a rehab program.

4:41 p.m. — A man from the 11000 block of Auburn Road reported someone might have tampered with his vehicle.

4:48 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Round Valley Road reported a residential burglary.

5 p.m. — A caller from Lakeshore North and Clubhouse Drive reported interrupting a possible drug deal.

5:14 p.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Golden Trout Way reported a man was refusing to let her move around the house. He was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest.

5:24 p.m. — Multiple callers from Highway 49 and Alta Sierra drive reported a physical fight between a man and a woman; no one was located.

7:59 p.m. — A woman from the 23000 block of Broadmoor Court reported a boy assaulted a girl.


12:29 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported a large group of young people drinking; they left before deputies arrived.

1:28 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported a large party with drunken juveniles. The party had dispersed.

8:56 a.m. — A caller from Commercial Street reported a man was telling lies.

11:13 a.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Broad Street reported people spray-painting under the overpass. No one was located.


12:31 a.m. — A caller from the old airport property reported someone firing for 30 minutes.
