Auburn Police officers are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery early Saturday morning, less than a month after a similar robbery. A Grass Valley man has been arrested in the earlier incident and is set to appear in court Thursday. At about 5:30 a.m. Saturday, a clerk at a convenience store in the area of Auburn Ravine Road and Mikkelsen Drive was robbed at gunpoint, but the suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers.
