Nearing completion, builders of Grass Valley’s new California Highway Patrol headquarters off McCourtney Road say the project is on track to be finished by the end of March. CHP’s $14 million, 16,800-square-foot facility includes a vehicle service facility, storage building for additional records, radio equipment and an emergency generator, covered parking facility with a fuel island and a 120-foot tall communication tower, according to planning documents.
