Ballet in high def comes to Grass Valley

From the Paris Opera Ballet, comes Rudolph Nuryev’s “Don Quixote,” captured live and broadcast in stunning HD at Sutton Cinemas this month. This event kicks off a series of five classical ballets distributed exclusively to movie theaters this spring. “Don Quixote” will show at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday and again at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sutton Cinemas. “Don Quixote” is one of the most popular ballets of all time, still in performance around the world after almost 150 years since its creation by Russia’s great choreographer Marius Petipa.
