Nevada County announced Friday the hiring of Charles Wilson as its new human resources director, replacing the outgoing Gayle Satchwell. “Wilson has extensive public and private sector experience in managing human resources functions and for the past three and a half years served as assistant director of human resources for the county of Butte,” said Nevada County Executive Officer Rick Haffey in his weekly memo. “A member of numerous human resources organizations, Charlie’s knowledge of current issues facing public agencies will serve us well.” The county has faced several issues with staff management, as it has trimmed its employee roster …
