Grass Valley Police Department

Wednesday

8:19 a.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Brockwood Avenue reported a scam with a person calling and telling her she won a Mercedes through Publishers Clearing House. The caller wanted her to send $100 via money order to pay the taxes.

8:35 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Auburn Street reported five teenagers smoking marijuana; they were found to be smoking cigarettes and were headed to school.

10:50 a.m. — A caller from the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a forged prescription.

12:04 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of gas from a vehicle.

12:50 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported a man in a vehicle showed a woman a gun.

1:22 p.m. — A caller from Horizon Circle reported possible physical abuse.

3:42 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Eureka Street reported possible squatters.

3:46 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported an extremely drunken woman pulled into a handicapped spot, got out and urinated on herself before going into a store. She was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia.

Thursday

2:21 a.m. — A woman from the 300 block of North Church Street reported her husband is drunk and said he was hit by a car. No one was located.

2:41 a.m. — A caller from the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a vehicle was driving in circles around a parking lot, following a lot sweeper. A person was cited on suspicion of driving on a suspended license.

Wednesday

8:53 a.m. — A caller from Jones Bar and Newtown roads requested extra patrols due to a road rage issue.

9:55 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Kodiak Lane reported a breaker box had been tampered with.

11 a.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Day Road reported six goats in her yard that were eating everything. The goats were contained.

11:53 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Arey Place reported dogs chasing livestock.

12:37 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported the theft of a laptop from a business.

12:48 p.m. — A caller from Willow Valley and Lewis roads reported shooting in an unsafe manner.

1:41 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Buck Ridge Road reported a neighbor shot a hawk out of a tree; Fish & Game was contacted.

3:05 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Kneebone Court reported vandalism to a home.

3:13 p.m. — A caller from Rolling Hills Court reported a fight between a man high on meth and a woman. The man reportedly punched himself in the face and gave himself a bloody lip. He took a baby and went on a walk, then brought the baby back. He was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse and committing a felony while on bail.

8:55 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Bartlett Drive reported receiving calls from a man saying he was outside masturbating, and then calling her names. She had received three calls in 10 minutes. The calls were coming from an unknown juvenile at a receiving home in Sacramento.

9:08 p.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Ball Road reported her ex-boyfriend vandalized her house and stole items. A be-on-the-lookout advisory was issued.

9:21 p.m. — A caller from Empire Mine reported a vehicle hit a tree.

10:32 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Aileen Way reported vandalism to two trash cans.
