The Nevada County board of supervisors is expected to appoint Hank Weston, District 4 representative, as the chair of the five-person board for the 2013 calendar year during the first regular meeting of the new year, according to supporting documents attached to the meeting agenda. Weston will join Supervisor Nate Beason on the Budget Review Committee. The important committee meets frequently in the spring in an attempt to help staff craft a budget for the pending fiscal year.
