Police Blotter: Stolen booze, cows destroy pool

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Friday

7:41 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a male subject had stolen a bottle of rum.

9:40 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported a loose dog that is part pit bull that was taken into a business.

11:45 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Arcadia Drive reported a male subject that came to the caller’s house and asked for help, saying his neck was out of alignment and that he is trying to find his mother. The man seemed disoriented.

Saturday

3:01 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of West Main Street reported a transient trying to sleep in the bathroom.

8:30 a.m. — A caller from Brunswick and Old Tunnel roads reported having been assaulted last night in front of a bank around 4 a.m. The caller wanted to place an informal report and said she was on her way to the Emergency Room for treatment of an arm injury.

8:31 a.m. — A caller from the 700 block of South Auburn Street reported a burglar had entered the residence and took a large amount of cash.

8:35 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of East Main Street reported theft of money from change machines.

1:07 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported her son has a warrant and is in the shower.

1:51 p.m. — A caller from the 1700 block of East Main Street reported possible transient problems including a large amount of garbage and a stolen garbage can.

2:55 p.m. — A caller from the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported an employee panhandling and causing a traffic back-up.

4:20 p.m. — A caller from the 1900 block of Nevada City Highway reported a disgruntled customer had became angry with him, took a picture of him and then threatened him.

10:20 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Glasson Way reported a subject refusing to disrobe and put on a hospital gown. The subject was raising his voice and cursing.

Sunday

1:53 a.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Sutton Way reported a suspect put an object, possibly a bottle of alcohol, under his jacket and walked out of the store.

8:20 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Ballantree Lane reported five to six cows on the property attempting to destroy the pool.

8:33 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Oak Meadow Road reported an injured deer that was trapped in field fencing.

9:23 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Dolores Drive reported attempted fraud at her residence. The caller said she received a phone call from a male subject pretending to be her older son in Mexico.

12:52 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block Rough and Ready Highway reported that his ex violated her court probation terms by drinking alcohol on Christmas Eve.

9:21 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Penna Way reported a male boxer mix that was found last night. She thought the dog possibly may be injured.

9:36 a.m. — A caller from Slate Creek Road and Alls Well Place reported a green full-size van on Slate Creek that had been there for three days and had a possible male subject living in the van.

10:07 a.m. — A caller from 16000 block of Hangtree Road reported their neighbor parking a motorhome on his property and refusing to remove it.

11:04 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Forest View Drive reported finding a yellow wallet under mailboxes.

1:17 p.m. — A caller from Bear Valley reported subjects shooting in the large meadow at Bear Valley at Highway 20 where subjects are cross country skiing.

2:58 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Viscia Ranch Road reported a dead cow located on the property that was killed by neighborhood dogs.

3:23 p.m. — A caller from North Canyon Road and Hogback Road reported a subject stealing firewood from the area.

4:15 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Wolf Road reported theft of two firearms from an unlocked area outside sometime in the last 30 days.

4:24 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Big Blue Road reported theft of a leaf blower and chainsaw.

4:44 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Grand Oaks Place reported hearing shooting.

6:34 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Quail Creek Road reported a man with no white in possibly pajama bottoms loitering in the neighborhood.

7:58 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sacramento Street requested a check on the welfare of a male transient due to the weather.

11:15 p.m. — A caller from Nile and Adams streets reported a female standing in the middle of the roadway, crying and swearing to herself.

Saturday

4:07 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Broad Street reported seeing an older couple back into another vehicle, damaging the vehicle’s bumper, and the subjects walked away without leaving a note.

8:08 p.m. — A caller from North Pine Street reported he was just assaulted near the courthouse. The caller did not wish for medical help.

Sunday

3:02 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sacramento Street reported a male inside a store, stumbling around stating he needs help.

6:55 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Nile Street said she didn’t know where she was and wanted an escort to a shelter.
