Grass Valley Police officers responding to a call of a suspicious man with a bandanna over his face ended up arrested the suspect after a short foot pursuit in downtown Grass Valley. A caller reported the man “lingering” in the alley next to the Owl Saloon at just before 11 p.m. Sunday, according to dispatch reports. An officer doing an area check spotted the man, still wearing the bandanna, near West Main and South Church streets, said Sgt. Clint Bates.
