Police Blotter: Burned bus threat, lots of thefts from cars


Grass Valley Police Department

Friday

10:30 a.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of $120 from his wallet he left on a store counter.

12;17 p.m. — A caller at a bus stop near the intersection of Bank and Tinloy streets reported a man making threats that if the bus didn’t go where he wanted it to, he’d burn the bus stop down.

12:36 p.m. — A caller at a business on the 100 block of Neal Street reported several juveniles swing knives around in front of the grocery store.

12:49 p.m. — The caller on the 700 block of Sutton Way called back stating that the pharmacy’s video surveillance shows who stole the money.

3:27 p.m. — A caller at a store on the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a man stole three shirts.

8:15 p.m. — A caller on the 1000 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of a cell phone at a pharmacy.

8:02 a.m. — A caller on the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported a wallet stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.

8:40 a.m. ­— A caller on the 500 block of Packard Drive reported a items stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

9:47 a.m. — A caller on the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported an unregistered vehicle stolen.

10:23 a.m. — A caller on the 500 block of Jenkins Street reported smashed mailboxes as a vandalism.

12:25 p.m. — A caller on the 300 block of South Church Street reported two locked vehicles were broken into overnight.

3:02 p.m. — A caller on the 100 block of Peabody Court reported someone threw a rock through a window.

8:38 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road and Commercial Avenue reported a man bashing the window of a car driven by a female followed by that man chasing the woman’s vehicle in his own while driving erratically.

9:23 a.m. — A caller on the 18600 block of Shasta Dam Way reported two pitbull boxer mix dogs chasing her horses and not letting her exit her home.

10:47 a.m. — A caller on the 12800 block of Ridge Road reported his unlocked vehicle was broken into during the night.

1:45 a.m. — A caller on the 18100 block of Jayhawk Drive reported the theft of a shotgun.

2:11 a.m. — A caller at a gas station on the 53100 block of Donner Pass Road reported a subject running around with no shoes on.

2:41 a.m. — A caller on the 12200 block of Rocker Road reported an unknown man came into her home an hour ago and stole her purse.

5:28 a.m. — A caller on the 10600 block of East Bennet Road reported hitting a downed tree across the roadway.

7:57 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of Excelsior Ditch Camp and Augustine roads reported an overturned vehicle in the ditch.

11:09 a.m. — A caller on the 10200 block of Ridgeview Drive reported the theft of multiple items from a vehicle overnight.

12:27 p.m. — A caller on the 12900 block of Frosty Lane reported a theft.

12:56 p.m. — A caller on the 12000 block of Park View Drive reported a theft.

2:45 p.m. — A caller on the 10100 block of Pittsburg Road burglaries of multiple unlocked vehicles on the property.

4:08 p.m. — A caller on the 13300 block of Banner Lava Cap Road reported burglaries to two of his vehicles.

5:48 p.m. — A caller on the 15500 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported that someone poisoned his animal.

11:03 a.m. – A caller on the 21900 block of Egbert Hill Road reporter the theft of a chainsaw from an unlocked garage.

4:54 a.m. — A caller at a hospitality establishment on the 400 block of Railroad Avenue reported an intoxicated man attempting to break into cabins.

12:49 p.m. — A caller on the 900 block of Gold Flat reported an underground water leak.
