A 23-year-old Nevada County woman was pulled from beneath her vehicle early Thursday morning, transported to a Grass Valley Hospital, released and cited for intoxicated driving, according to public safety and hospital officials. Kelly Bynes was reportedly driving one mile east of Nevada City around 1 a.m. when her vehicle toppled. According to the woman’s mother, the Mercury Mountaineer came to rest on its side, where Nevada County Consolidated Fire personnel said it trapped the driver under it.
