Organization of the Grass Valley City Council is scheduled to shuffle at its meeting today, followed by an assessment of damage from recent storms. With the election of former Grass Valley Downtown Association leader Howard Levine in November and re-election of Mayor Jan Arbuckle and Councilwoman Lisa Swarthout, the three members must be sworn in tonight. Part of that process necessitates formalizing the end to Councilwoman Yolanda Cookson’s term. Levine will fill Cookson’s vacated seat.
