Some surreptitious Santas still are being sought for the Caring and Sharing program run by the Grass Valley Police Officers Association. The program, now in its 21st year, is designed to help less fortunate children in the community while building positive relationships between law enforcement, children and their families. Children are referred to the program from community members as well as other public service agencies. The program’s Wishing Tree is placed in the lobby of the Grass Valley Police Department at 129 S.
