After almost 20 years as president of the Grass Valley and Nevada County Chamber of commerce, Mary Ann VanMeter has announced her retirement effective immediately. “There is never a good time to leave an organization, but after much thought and discussions with my family, I’ve made the decision to move on,” VanMeter said in a statement.
