Jon Borad of Nevada City, Calif., passed away Nov. 14, 2012, in Auburn, Calif. He was 74. A memorial service and celebration of his life will take place at 1 p. m. Dec. 3, 2012, at The Empire Mine State Historic Park, 10791 E. Empire St., Grass Valley, Calif. Friends and family are welcome to come and join us in remembering Jon.
