Santa Paws raises funds for AnimalSave

The 12th annual Santa Paws holiday fundraiser, which took place Saturday in Nevada City at the Miner’s Foundry, showed strong support for AnimalSave’s efforts in the community.

A big thank you to all who participated by attending, bidding, volunteering, donating, advertising and sponsoring. It is because of the collaborative work of the individuals in Nevada County that a huge difference is made, said Mrs. Northern California, Melisa Mistler-Yates, owner of M3 Mall, who served as emcee and auctioneer. She opened the event with a quote from Margaret Mead:

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

The team for AnimalSave, “did just that,” Mistler said.

The M3 Mall team also provided video and photography. Links to those may be found on the M3 Mall facebook page, www.facebook.com/M3Mall.
