Steve Cameron downtown Grass Valley’s person of the year

The Grass Valley Downtown Association has recognized Steve Cameron, a district manager at Waste Management, as its Citizen of the Year.

The awards also recognizes Waste Management along with Cameron for their dedication to the design and beautification of the downtown historic district, the GVDA said in a release.

Debbie Lange was recognized as the GVDA’s Volunteer of the Year. Lang is a volunteer that goes above and beyond the expectations of the GVDA’s staff, they noted in their release. They added that Lang always has a smile and is full of energy,

“The board, members and the GVDA staff thank Debbie from the bottom of our hearts,” the release stated.
