A Lake of the Pines woman was arrested after allegedly slashing her son’s arm with a butcher knife during an argument Thursday night. Nevada County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call from the residence in the 13000 block of Torrey Pines Drive just before 10:30 p.m., according to dispatch reports. The caller reported his mother had stabbed him, was drunk and was high on methamphetamine.
