The election process at one Nevada City voting precinct proceeded without problem Tuesday, according to poll workers, but isolated minor complaints did filter in throughout the day. “It’s been going rather smoothly,” said Louise Jones, precinct inspector at the Madelyn Helling Library. While much was made of potential issues with voter intimidation leading up to the election, Jones said, no incidents had occurred at her polling site. “We’ve had an observer for the entire day, but it’s been fine,” Jones said.
