By anyone’s measuring stick, Nevada County Television’s Oct. 13 telethon was a success, raising almost twice as much as the community access television station’s initial goal. With a new facility necessitating funds to complete the construction of a studio and new broadcasting equipment needed, organizers of “Power Up NCTV” had a goal to raise $10,000 at the telethon.
