The Grass Valley Downtown Association has announced the winners of its annual Safe Trick or Treat event. Foothill Flowers won “Best Window Display,” Wildside took the honor for “Best Themed Costume,” Gold Rush BBQ was voted “Most Enthusiastic,” City Hall took top honors for “Best Costumes,” the “Most Child Pleasing” award went to First Five, while Tri Counties Bank took the “Best Overall” honor. Serving as judges were: Sandy Brooke, Robin Carson, Melisa Mistler (M3Mall) GVDA Executive Director Julia Jordan, GVDA Event Coordinator Deana Tate and student intern Maddi Baloga.
