More vandalism discovered at Alta Sierra golf course

For the second time in two years, an offensive racist symbol was etched into a visible portion of the golf course at Alta Sierra Country Club. The unknown vandals reportedly used herbicide to create a large swastika, commonly associated with the German Nazi Party presided over by Adolf Hitler, and increasingly related to neo-racist factions throughout the U.S. Sean O’Brien, superintendent of the golf course for the past 27 years, who has seen plenty of incidents of vandalism during his stint, said the act was not a “big deal.” “I think that if whoever did this saw a real Nazi, …
