Several of Nevada City’s streets are scheduled for facelifts beginning Thursday, as the city wraps up the last of its seasonal road repairs. Paving is scheduled for parts of North Pine Street, Sacrament Street, Jordan Street, Gold Flat Road and Gold Tunnel Drive, all slated to be completed by Nov. 2. The majority of the work will involve grinding and grading the pavement, followed by the laying of new pavement, said Bill Falconi, the city’s engineer.
