A Grass Valley man remains in custody in county jail after being arrested twice in the same day, allegedly for trying, and eventually succeeding, in stealing items from parked vehicles. A Grass Valley Police officer was dispatched to the Holiday Inn parking lot on Bank Street at about 7:15 a.m. Friday, in response to a call of a man going from vehicle to vehicle, trying to open their doors.
