Construction of the California Highway Patrol’s new Grass Valley headquarters is coming along with much of the main building already completed. CHP will not immediately own the $14 million, 16,800-square-foot facility being built off McCourtney Road near the Nevada County Fairgrounds. Instead, CHP elected to pursue a lease-to-own option at a rate of $95,075.66 per month, according to CHP spokesperson Jaime Coffee.
